Galactic Tour
The single-player campaign, following Shade through the Galactic League against Kestar Bool. Randomised each tour, with branching paths and a token that is lost on a bad race.
Covered in full on The Galactic Tour.
Arcade
Curated events built around recognisable racers and locations, sitting outside the campaign’s run structure. The Tatooine track from Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace is an Arcade event, and Arcade also holds time trials. [1][2]
Podracers are available from the start in Arcade, without progressing the campaign first. [7]
The three Deluxe Arcade events are the only Arcade content locked to an edition. See Editions. [3]
Multiplayer
Online PvP for up to 12 players, with cross-platform play. [4]
A multiplayer session runs as six events. The first five are where vehicle-building decisions are made; the sixth is a showdown race that settles the final standings, so a session is decided at the end rather than accumulated across it. [5]
Fuse Games CEO Matt Webster on the shape of it: “Maybe I’ve got something, maybe there’s something coming my way in the next race.” [5]
There are also podracer-focused online multiplayer events, the first time podracing has been played competitively online in a Star Wars game. [7]
Reputation carries between matches, and Secret Mode describes the format as grudge matches. [2]
